154 Scott
154 Scott is a 120,000sf loft conversion into workspace for a creative community with a 3-floor members club added to the top of the building.
In addition to architectural design, our team collaborated with the developer on programming the building as well as seeding the building with tenants and members for SAA.
For the first phase of the project we assisted the developer with construction management in addition to performing the complicated building code and zoning analysis to enlarge an ‘overbuilt’ building.
The use of simple, durable materials throughout respects the condition of this 1926 steel mill which is composed of site-cast concrete and terracotta block and appropriately shapes its transformation to a place of 21st century creative production.
The interior design of SAA was completed by Happier.
